Full details of the results of the 2009 season for all the Club's teams can be found by clicking on the "Matches" tab, then "Results" at the top of this page.

The season held mixed fortunes for our three Saturday league teams. The First Team missed promotion by a whisker, finishing level on points with the second placed club, but missing out by winning fewer games.

The Second XI were relegated from the top flight, but only by 4 points. The 3rd XI, however, were promoted into the top flight of their league.

For the position of the Third XI in the Bristol and District League structure, go to www.bdca.play-cricket.com. We played in Division 1 of the Second XI's.

The Club's youth section continues to thrive and has its own web site. To visit, simply scroll down this page and click on the link to the "Thornbury Youth" web site.
